Bootstrapping the basics
Training and Understanding For most of my career I’ve had the opportunity to help train others as a part of my job. While it wasn’t something I expected to do, I have really enjoyed it. I was particularly blessed to have at one time a good mentor who was willing to take me under his wing and was equally excited about the craft of programming. I hope that I can pass that along, helping others develop the same love of programming that I have.

Autumn and Man
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven
- Ecclesiastes 3:1
I love fall. It’s my favorite season. Something about the cool air, the signal of the turning of the season causes me to reflect in a peaceful way. This year I have been reflecting on the cyclical nature of the seasons and it’s mapping to life.
Despite it’s role of inaugurating in the dismal season of death, many of us cherish every fall.
